Tucked away beside the privacy of its own watering hole, the Little Governors' Camp can only be accessed by boat, ferrying guests across the Mara river and then guiding them through a forest until they reach the camp. Vehicles are left on the far river bank, and the camp is therefore quiet and undisturbed. 

The camp is unfenced, and there is a resident family of warthogs who wander freely throughout. Guests may need to make way for elephants which sometimes visit the camp at lunch time.

Little Governors' has only 17 tents and each has an uninterrupted view from their own wooden viewing decks. Each tent is decorated to the highest standard with polished wooden floors and en suite bathrooms. Activities at the camp include game drives and bush walks, sundowner trips and bush dinners.
