Each country has its own specific requirements regarding which nationalities will need a visa to travel there. We urge you to ask your local embassy for the country you are interested in travelling to, or go to the website www.projectvisa.com to find out more.
We are always happy to supply you with the relevant travel documents you may need to apply for a visa, however it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa and and such we cannot be held responsible for travellers who fail to obtain one.
Yes, this is definitely possible! In order for us to propose the most suitable itinerary which will be in line with all of your requirements, just let us know the number of people in your travel group, your intended travel dates and your specific interests and special requests for this trip. Once we have this information we can prepare your itinerary accordingly.
All of the tours which we operate can be tailor-made to your specific travel dates and routing requirements. Please note that it is advisable to book early in order to secure unique space as some of the smaller properties fill up very quickly, especially during the peak season.
Africa is a fantastic location for a family holiday; however we generally recommend that children over the age of six will benefit more from a safari then children under this age. Although there are still activities available for younger children, there is so much to learn and experience on a safari, and we feel that six years and up years is the ideal age. At the time of enquiry, let us know what ages your children are and we will make sure that this is take this into account as a priority when recommending a suitable itinerary for you.
A wide range of people from all walks of life and various countries join us for on our tours. We have no age restriction but we do find that most of our clients have a sense of adventure. The groups are made up of single travellers, couples, friends and families. However, when travelling together in a group each individual needs to have a degree of flexibility and patience
We operate our scheduled departures in minibuses which can take up to six people. In peak season we may have two minibuses with six passengers in each, however this is rare, and it is therefore likely that you will be sharing with no more than five other people in your vehicle.
Yes, as soon as you book your tour it is essential that all passengers travelling with Albatros Travel purchase comprehensive travel insurance which covers all aspects of cancellation, curtailment, repatriation, medical expenses and personal accident. Some emergency services will not send a rescue team until travel insurance has been validated, and it may therefore be the case that Albatros requests to see proof of travel insurance prior to travel with the right to refuse travel if this cannot be produced. Travel insurance is a completely essential part of travelling abroad and should be factored into the budget at the initial planning stage.
We welcome single travellers and assure you that whether you are travelling on a tailor-made itinerary or as part of one of our group tours, we will make sure that you have a fantastic time and experience the magical adventures we strive to deliver.
