Ending point of tour: Swakopmund
Departures: Guaranteed scheduled departures every Friday
A return journey is available from Swakopmund back to Windhoek.
Alternatively the tour can be combined with a tour to either Sossusvlei or Etosha departing from Swakopmund.

Weather/Best time to travel: You can visit Namibia year round. Partially covered by the Namib, Namibia's climate is generally very dry and pleasant. Namibia experiences summer rainfall (November to April). January and February are hot, when daytime temperatures in the interior of the country can exceed 40ºC , but nights are usually cooler. Winter nights can be cold, but days are generally warm and quite nice.
Remember to pack: A warm jacket for colder evenings and a high factor sun block, sun hat and sunglasses to protect against the African sun.
