Please note: This tour can either be done with a car rental, or with your own car if travelling from South Africa or Botswana. Your point of entry from South Africa would be Ariamsvlei if you travel through Upington, or Noordoewer if you depart from Cape Town. Entry from Botswana would be at the Buitepos/Gobabis border post The route can be adjusted and additional nights of accomodation added on request.

Weather/Best time to travel: You can visit Namibia year round. Partially covered by the Namib, Namibia's climate is generally very dry and pleasant. Namibia experiences summer rainfall (November to April). January and February are hot, when daytime temperatures in the interior of the country can exceed 40ºC , but nights are usually cooler. Winter nights can be cold, but days are generally warm and quite nice.
Remember to pack: A warm jacket for colder evenings and a high factor sun block, sun hat and sunglasses to protect against the African sun.
