Practical information
Starting point of tour: Johannesburg, South Africa
Ending point of tour: Johannesburg, South Africa
Departures: select Saturdays from Johannesburg (The Self-drive option doesn’t have to be on these dates)
The tour is offered in two versions:
► Offered as a group tour (min. 8 travellers), on a SIC (Seat-in-Coach) basis OR booked as a full, private group – all with certified guides, drivers and rangers. Subject to availability. Please note that Albatros also offers this great, South Africa Safari & Wildlife Week on other dates – just ask!
► We also offer the tour as a self-drive itinerary. Very good value for money, and while we supply you with a detailed driving itinerary (you can also rent a GPS), you are your own guide and can set your own time frame. Note that in the self-drive edition, ONLY accommodation, all safaris and full board when at the lodge and car hire is included. I.e. you pay your own entrance fees and meals as you go along. The self-drive tour is based on Super Cover/No Excess, category M, meaning a Toyota Yaris or similar, including power steering and air-condition. We offer a broad range of other new vehicles, so you can chose to upgrade your car to suit your needs.
- Dietary requirements: Please make sure to let us know well in advance, if you have any special dietary requirements
- Other language than English: We can, in most cases, assist with a guide speaking your language. Please book well in advance – subject to availability!
