GENERAL NEWS AND UPDATES
I am sure many of you already know, but we still get asked questions about Yellow Fever requirements for Zanzibar. Please see attached the yellow fever document attached. In short when travelling from a yellow fever endemic country you will be required to show your Yellow fever certificate. If you have arrived into Tanzania and then proceeding to Zanzibar you will not need to show a Yellow Fever Certificate. Please note that if travelling to or from Kenya then it is required.

Please note that the East African Visa is valid for multiple entries into Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. The issuing country has to be your first point of entry. If you are to travel to any other country outside of these three countries then the Visa is no longer valid. The reason for bringing this to your attention is mainly due to clients that are combining Tanzania into an East Africa Safari. As Tanzania is not part of this agreement, you will not be allowed to use the multiple entry visa when re-entering from Tanzania.
Please don’t forget that you can book a balloon flight over the Ndutu plains during the period of 20 December to 31 March to coincide with the wildebeest migration. This will allow guests to view this amazing spectacle from the air and also to allow those staying in Ndutu, Naabi or Kusini to experience one of the most amazing balloon flights in the world.
