TIPS FOR SELF DRIVING IN NAMIBIA
On the gravel roads, if you are speeding it is harder to brake and remember to slow right down around corners. Also ensure that you have at least one spare tyre and if you are going off into remote areas with a 4×4 try to take two with you and a puncture repair kit.
Also – remember the warnings about animals in the road are there for a reason! Namibia has vast stretches of land where animals can roam freely, so keep your eyes open for kudus, oryx, elephant and others crossing in front of you!
